The paralegal profession is growing steadily and is projected to keep growing steadily for the foreseeable future. These days, many people are considering a career change or are being forced into a career change because of economic challenges brought about by the recession. What the NPA Does for an Online School

The NPA works with paralegal schools (both traditional and especially the online school) to assess and improve their training programs. It does this through a variety of mechanisms, including programs offered for the “pre-student” who’ll be entering a good paralegal online school and feels as if he or she needs a head start before doing so. Always look for an accrediting association that offers at least employment advice, if not a network and maybe even a placement service for the online school. The NPA looks to have set up an employment information network center that works with both the regular paralegal school and the new-style online school and its students in addition to paralegals working in the profession or who hope to work in the profession.

An indicator of quality when it comes to the paralegal school — whether it’s a traditional or an online school — is its accreditation status. Never attend any institute’s program if they can’t demonstrate that they meet high standards for educational programs across the board. The best way to check on its status is to ascertain whether or not it’s accredited and then what organization accredits it and what the accrediting organization does for the online school.
